Worship Services 10/17

Saturday, Oct. 16th Galilee Lutheran Church, 8860 Soda Bay Road will be having a Labyrinth Walk at 4:00 PM at our outside labyrinth. Come and participate. Paper "finger labyrinths" will be available for those who cannot walk the actual brick labyrinth. Instructions will be part of the afternoon. Don't miss out!

Sunday October 17th worship will begin at 10:00 AM. The message presented by Rev. Martha Neff Stum with special music provided by the Chancel Choir. Pastor Martha will also have a special time for the children. Refreshments will be served after the service.

Worship Services 10/10

Sunday October 10th worship service at Galilee Lutheran Church, 8860 Soda Bay Road, will begin at 10:00 AM. In honor of the birthday Oct. 4 of St. Francis of Assisi, we'll be having a "Blessing of the Animals" during church. Bring a photo (not your pet) of your pet: dog, cat, fish, turtle, horse, mule, cow, etc. for a special blessing. The message will be brought to us by Rev. Martha Neff Stum. Pastor Martha will also have a special time for the children.

The women of Galilee will hold their monthly bake sale after the service.

Worship Services 09/12

Sunday September, the 12th, the 17th Sunday after Pentecost, worship service at Galilee Lutheran Church, 8860 Soda Bay Road, will begin at 10:00 AM. This will be the beginning of the indoor services for fall and winter. The message, presented by Rev. Martha Neff Stum will be “The story of the lost sheep”. Pastor Martha will also have a special time for the children.

Refreshments will be served after the service.

Worship Service 07/18

Galilee Lutheran Church, 8860 Soda Bay Road will welcome our new pastor, Rev. Martha Stum coming to us from Tucson, Arizona. She retired from the school district in Tucson where she was a school teacher for twenty-five years teaching both junior high and senior high school students. Before going to Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary she was assistant pastor in her home church in Tucson for three years. She graduated with the class of 2010.

Rev. Stum will be delivering her first sermon to Galilee July 18th at our 9:00 AM outdoor service.We invite you to join us in welcoming Rev. Stum and beginning of a new chapter in the life of Galilee.
